My Story:

Anyone that knows me will know that my hair is my crowning glory; it has been a talking point on numerous occasions gaining me the title of ‘chameleon’ for the amount of colour changes it has gone through. You could even say it is my treasure! However, since becoming a member & guardian for HOPE FOR JUSTICE I have realised the true reality of what ‘my treasure’ (my hair) could do to help the victims of the modern slavery industry, so I’m aiming to raise £1000 as my target goal then I will use my treasure by having my head shaved! At a Hope for Justice Event (Hair-Raiser for Hope for Justice) @ Crossgate Church Friday 11th October 7.30pm.

What would £1000 do for Hope for Justice?

With £1000: We could provide meals for 40 children for a week.

With £1000: We could provide emergency shelter & care for 20 vulnerable children for a month.

With £1000: We could provide medical care & medicine for 150 children @ one of our lighthouses.

With £1000: We could provide interpreters for rescues & help 10 survivors tell their story.

With £1000: We could provide everything 2 survivors need on the day of their rescue & for the first 48hrs of their transition to freedom.

Imagine that, my hair could raise this money to help so many victims that desperately need our help, why wouldn’t you? All I’m asking is you donate the cost perhaps of a cup of coffee or if you really would like to see me bald go the whole hog and donate £1000!! Lets help to put an end to someone’s suffering, lets help to give back the freedom that everyone should have, let’s give someone the gift of hope.
